It’s like Déjà vu all over again. If you were watching Die another day and there were certain moments that felt familiar, don’t worry, you weren’t imagining it.
There are a number of throwbacks to previous Bond films, throughout the movie as a nod to the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Probably the most recognizable one, is the scene where Jinx (Berry) walks out of the water in that skimpy bikini; just like Ursula Andress’ Honey Ryder did in Dr. No.
After the film was released, sales for the Aston Martin V-12 Vanquish (the car that Bond drives in the film) sky-rocketed, breaking records for any other Astin Martin model.
